Inspiration ... Chandelier

I haven't done music review for several weeks. But, I am so excited to share with you Sia's new song - Chandelier. You cannot miss it!

Firstly, I was entirely attracted by the music though the starting is similar to "Diamond" from Rihanna, which is also written by Sia. You can feel the reggae influence. Secondly, I was obsessed with Maddie's dance, such a talented girl!!! Highly flexible and weird eyesight.

It is an amazing pop ballad - Strongly emotional! With Sia's unique vocal delivery, you can really feel the situation, thoughts and emotion of a party girl, especially when chants in the chorus " I’m gonna live like tomorrow doesn't exist, like it doesn't exist". I could really feel like I was swirling from the chandelier. With the help of Maddie's dance, the music video is totally representing a new era of pop music.

Chandelier is indeed pessimistic. I think it is because Sia has been through unfortunate moments, which she was addicted to alcohol. Obviously, Chandelier is related to the self-destructive party girl.

All in all...... I think this is going to be one the best pop music in 2014. AND... Sia has just taken the lead in pop music in 2014.

Monday Music...... the HAIM

The HAIM is an American rock "family" band, which also earned the BBC's Sound of 2013... which means the HAIM is the raising star...

All three sisters, Este, Danielle, and Alana can play more than three instruments. Plus, one funny thing is that Este is famous for making blasting "Bass Face" lol.

I think the songs in their debut album "Days Are Gone" are entirely consistent - typical soft rock with a bit experimental. I think you can easily recognized that it is "The Haim" from the drum and their style. Among all the singles, I love "The Wire" and "If I Could Change Your Mind" the most. Videos are a bit weird... lol. Creepy for the "The Wire" lol. Anyway, I am sure that they are going to succeed since there are only a few of similar bands in the market.

Monday music ... West Coast

I am a big fan of Lana Del Rey . Totally can't get rid of her!
Good music for evening relaxation.

Monday music ... BRUNO MARS - MOONSHINE CONCERT HK!

Bruno Mars made his first performance in HK!!!!!! A Brilliantly talented singer without a single doubt!!!!!
He is a performer, drummer, pianist, guitarist and great singer, plus songwriter of course. The most important thing is that he really made all the audience enjoy the show!!!!

A new supernova should be noted - Philip Lawrence, the back vocal- Bruno Mars's right hand man. Great singer as well, love his "girl's" sound. He is the woman in the Lazy Song.

I totally admired the crew, who can sing, play instruments and dance at the same time! It doesn't matter if they are high or not, anyhow, they are professional performers!!

Monday Music ... What does the fox say??

Recently...... I find a big hit!

No doubt that north europeans are the craziest people in the world. I really admire that they can write a song based on a beautiful animal. And the most important thing is that the sounds they described are actually existing among the fox.

When I have a kid... I will definitely let them listen to this song to learn some animal sounds.

Monday music ... Safe and Sound

Even though I am the 90s, but I am still in love with the 80s.

Monday Music ...... Lorde

When you were in your 16, what were you doing?
This talented girl made music already.
Lorde - Royal

Recently, I find that New Zealand music is unbelievably impressive.

Monday Music........ Lifted . Naughty Boy feat. Emeli Sande

Positive energy is here and there now.

Halestorm, they do rock!!!!!

How do I know Halestorm? I know them from glee ( Glee cast did a cover of Here's to Us, Halestorm). I think 50% of fans know Halestorm through glee.

I think the must listen item must be Here's to Us. Rachel obviously sings marvelous in glee. But, Lzzy depicts the picture completely! I like her voice more, which gives you a raw feeling. And, SHE ROCKSSSSSSSS!!!!

Another must listen item is All I Want to Do is Make Love to You. It is a cover of Heart's song. They erase the old 80s smell, but a complicated feeling is all here! You could just feel it.

They are awesome!

WHY DO WE HAVE RELIGION? Should we believe in a religion? (1)

I am going to talk about something serious which confuses me always. But first, let's have a childish but wise song. I am a Lion King fans. When I watch it, I just cry. Because it is about LIFE! Tell you more about Lion King later.

WHY DO WE HAVE RELIGION? Should we believe in a religion?

This is the topic that we 4 girls talk about till 5am in the morning.

Here is what I think. (NO OFFENCE!) I do believe in GOD, who maintains everything on schedule and "normal", or controls our fate or karma. But I am not sure where he is and whether he Particularly belongs to one special religion like Christian or Catholic. At the same time, I believe (at this moment, here is wht i am believing) that the reason we live is because we are under the circle of life. That is why we have to give offspring, develop the world and all the bullshit. Circle of life and God are what I am believing in.

So, should I put a God into a particular region? My friends kept saying that having one religion is really important. Otherwise, I will get lost! Is it the real scene?! Seriously, I have tried believing in Christian but in vain. I studied in catholic school for 7 years, but in vain. What can I do? They said like I should understand more first.

Next blog is about what they think.

On the High Speed Railway, to Taipei

I have taken these sunset photos for a million times. It is so amazing that I could not stop capturing this.
The moment that the cloud eclipses the light is vitally attractive. That is the moment that I feel like I could touch the heaven.

When I talk about heaven, I suddenly think of a song. Life is a Problem, Spiritualized.

There is no need to mentioned about the rhythm or melody. Because all of their songs are so amazing. What makes it so special is its raw, explaining the real pathetic life.

Sometimes, we have to admit the fact that we are weak.

Back to the basic step

I always think about how I could make my blog better. The main trouble was deciding whether I should write it in English or Cantonese ( I say Cantonese because my Traditional Chinese is totally far from satisfactory, I speak or write Cantonese slang better!). That is absolutely stupid! I mean I should write something whatever I want no matter how my languages suck. It is my blog, my dear diary, sort of thing. Then, I would not give a shit on it! None the less, I need to have a theme.

Well, I am an engineer without any technical knowledge, so I could not write something or give comment about the infrastructure of the world or some CPU stuff ( What is CPU?!) Plus, I am not a history or politics student, I just have no clues about international relationships. But I do like fashion, music and different culture. Then, let's see how it goes.

BTW now I am living in HK, such a metropolitan city. You have to catch up with the roaring speed at every single moment. The tempo and the style of Duran Duran's 'Girl's Panic' is entirely a picture of Hong Kong-- Fabulous and fast, and it never ever changes!

YES!

BUT WAIT A MIN,

My uncle said" welcome back to the earth!".
YAP~ HE IS RITE!!

PUMP INTO YOU~

P.S. 原來EMMY the Great 出了碟, 唔係唔SUPPORT AR?!?!    See More

你敢說你在LADY GAGA 的BORN THIS WAY 中找不到MADONNA 的EXPRESS YOURSELF 的影子嗎?!

什麼叫NEW WAVE MUSIC?! 大概是THE TINGS TINGS 跟 FRANZ FERDINAND 那種吧。

樓上個VIDEO 是THE CARS 的新歌SAD SONG。THE CARS 的成員而家個個都是白髮老人家=] (YES, I AM OLD SCHOOL! SO WHT?!)

THE CARS 始於70年代, 話就係話AMERICAN ROCK BAND, 但走的是NEW WAVE MUSIC。跟好多BAND 一樣, 當然去到一個BOTTLE NECK 便BREAK UP 了 ( Human Beings are always greedy, sad but true!)

THE CARS

Tonight I'm Gonna Fucking You, 又話者,

S S S  & M M M......

Sake.
