That is something which really touched my nerve when I read Long Walk To Freedom. The Umbrella Revolution reminds me of that quote.

As a Hong Konger, I am so proud of being involved in this "Revolution". We fight for "Real Democracy" through demanding for "Real Universal Suffrage". Several months ago, when discussing with my friends, I commented that Occupying Central would hardly happen. I underestimated it. There are a lot of things to be blamed, mourned for - unreasonably high housing prices, barbarian Chinese conquering HK...... People later on believe that selecting our own Chief Executive will be the only solution. Well, isn't it?

Even we have a new CE selected by local people, what's next? We still do not solve the fundamental problem - We Lack The VISION. WE NEED SOME GROUPS, LEADERS LEADING HK TO NEXT LEVEL, NOT JUST UNIVERSAL SUFFRAGE.

Tearing HK people apart is not the correct direction. We need to be together and have same direction. That's the right approach.

I am so afraid that we are repeating the history - 4th of June, 1989. That's exactly the same. WE NEED PEACE AND LOVE IN HK.

5 Tips to Do Advertisement in HK 

(Not really tips... Just something I observe here .)

1. As HK is so damn crowded, be remembered to make use of the limited space
2. Posting advert up in the air is a good choice!
3. HK is an extremely prosperous city. Normal billboard may not be effective anymore. We are hungry to see some amazingly brilliant decoration, POSM.
4. BIG is important - though we know space is something hard to find here.
5. To face the huge competitor, you have to adapt to this robust speed and the environmental change here.

Inspiration ... HANDMADE#1

Handmade items are always meticulous. It takes time and extra care to complete and refine. You must have own some precious handmade items for sure.

Today, I walked a small sports shop in Mong Kok. As you know that Mong Kok is kind of conquered by some chain sport shops which basically sell the same cheesy sneakers, it is rare to see a small sports shop offering real sports equipment.

In front of it, there was a middle aged man focusing on weaving the net of badminton racket. I think it is my first time to see people weaving the net of racket. My dad once told me that " The handmade weaved net on racket is more durable which help you play better". Therefore, he gave me that as a birthday gift when I was a kid ( Though I am not a good badminton player lol).

Handmade item now is getting rare and rare. It's kind of a treasure which nearly extincts, at least in Hong Kong. Have you found other rare handmade items here?

Inspiration ... How / What you think really depends on...?

Well... Talking about thinking, I feel like I am not convincing enough to write a little column like this, as I am not really a logical person. But still, I wanna share about way of thinking.

Here is a little background of me. Apart from being a little blogger here, I of course have a boring routine job, which is not commercial industry. It's something about continuous improvement/ change management in a MNC factory. It's tough but challenging in the mean time. One thing I learnt thoroughly is the change of management style, to be exact it should be leadership style, really makes the change happen.

I and my teammate were debating the leadership style, while she is absolutely an aggressive & challenging & analytic & determined & leader-typed person. Looking at the perseverance in her eyes, listening to her talking about how leadership style should be, I immediately feel like... "wow! "

I told her that I don't have any managerial and leadership style. I don't spend a single second to think about how a leader or manager should be, nor what I will do once I have a team. I am not saying that I am incapable of being at that position, but it's just I am not really a career oriented person ( P.S. I would not write this little blog if I am like that).

Well... you should know that, by far, what I normally think or day dream is about basically about music, style, stylish design, life, relationship, snapshot, childish stuff... Ok... I am a day dreamer. Why do I always think about these areas? When I recall back, I was always exposed to the column, different types of music (chinese and western orchestra, Bee Gees, Pink Floyd, Carol King... plus my mum played Guzheng). I have never thought of something related to work indeed. However, my colleague is raised in the environment which all the seniors give advises related to managerial stuff/ leadership skills.

I just feel like... the way you think, area that you day dream/ think are influenced by your exposure and living environment for sure.

P.S. thanks my colleague, you make me understand myself a bit more.

Inspiration ... What sacred relic enchant you

The Big Buddha is an internationally notable attraction. Come on, a super huge buddha is located on top of the mountain. However, apart from climbing a super long staircase and taking the terrible sweating pictures on the lotus platform, do you know that there is some more to see inside? 

You know, it is rare to see Buddhism relic directly. Normally, it is highly protected in a temple and covered with the bricks or so, because it is a way to show respect to the sacred pieces. However in the Big Buddha, you have an opportunity to see it in a closed distance (Yap.... unluckily I have a pair of typical Chinese eyes, which is hard for me to see the tiny pieces).  

Relic is a physical remains of saint for veneration as a tangible memorial. It plays an important role in worship. For example, in the Relic of the Tooth of Buddha in Sri Lanka, a bunch of crowd visits the relic everyday to show their respect. One interesting is that, no matter how crowded it is, you can still immediately calm yourself after worshiping relic. Regardless it is in HK or Sri Lanka, you will have the same calmness. But why?

Some may say this kind of enigma can not be explained through science. Some say people are just influenced by the surrounding solemn environment. I think... it's just people pay attention to worshiping the god/ the Buddha. Thinking about the life, humanity, generosity, karma, world...... , the more you understand, the more calmness you will get.

Inspiration ... We are gossip girl 1

When girl has a one on one trip with a guy, it makes sense that they will have something exceptionally fun during the trip. If not, the girl should make a reflection......? 

I and my friends are gossip girls, buzz always bursts out from the Whatsapp group. Most likely, they are all about beauty/ gossiping. This is something interesting that I received lately.

Well, couple should have a lot of funnnn in trips for sure. Otherwise, how to maintain an healthy relationship? But friends, seriously? Won't they feel embarrassed / weird after having too much fun? Or it is already a custom here in this(my) generation?Or their positions are already categorized as FB? I have too much questions on my head.

May be I am just too outdated.

Inspiration...NOT TO BE FORGOTTEN

I am not a political expert, neither a patriotic advocate. But I, as a Chinese and a citizen who knows humanity, understand how sacred freedom is especially. Freedom, equality are not gifted rights since your born. That's why we have to stand out to show our respect to the fighters.

Lesson learnt ... Passion or Indifference.

Every week day when I go to work, I feel like we are being sent to a concentration camp. Of course, the environment is not as terrible as the camp. You get the paid, get some recognition from your work. You are pressurized, overloaded. Somehow, work is like a roller-coaster. Everybody goes through the up and down. Well, that is the reality. What I want to say is that I have observed something interesting in this roller-coaster. 

You can see two different attitudes to life from their eyes. You can see one is full of passion. The other is indifference. You may criticize that you cannot judge the others from the first sight. But, I do believe in intuition, instincts. 

The group of indifference is booming as they are now easily tempted by the stupid Candy Crush or Korean TV dramas. Yes, I am stereotyping them. But, think about it. You are wasting your RAM when you play Candy Crush. These are the poison that sabotaging our personal growth. That's why they will never understand what passion means in life.

You care, dream, work hard on it, determine, persevere...... are the passion of your life. You see yourself as a musician in 10 years. That's why you go to sing on the street every weekend. Maybe your parents entirely object to your decision as music is worthless in HK. People may not agree to your decision. Or it takes time to fight, just like Mandela's - Long Road to Freedom. But, it is worthy when you are young. Twenty something is the golden age to keep your passion and grow it. PASSION.

The ideas of this passage is from a little chat with my colleague. 

Subtle Friday ....... HK Girls get addicted to foreigners or "Girls just wanna have fun"?

I think everybody in HK now have heard of the story - A foreigner "stole" a girl from an Asian boy. This leak is now a hot topic here. Obviously, these two foreigners are a piece of shit. Posting the video which is recorded with hidden camera, naming it with a discriminate title. What a saint! However, those girls do not worth any mercy for their behavior. 

In  Lan Kwai Fong, One Night Stand happens every where. It is just as usual as breathing ...... for the party animals. It doesn't matter whether you or your target partner is white/ black/ brown. It just happens to every party animal there - provided that you aim at having extra fun after the party. Only boys picking on girls? No no no... My dear bf shared some experience to me ...... Girls do shake their bodies in front of the guys persistently, even though guys refuse. Here is a basic theory - If girls does not raise any sexual arousal, how can guys successfully hook you up? Right? Hence, I believe that these girls just intended to have some fun... But, unfortunately they fell into the foreign jerks.

Foreigners are always attractive here. Due to the integration of both Eastern and Western culture, plus the governance of Britain, HK people mostly are still psychologically connected to the west. Anything from western culture is superior. This tendency is just deep rooted.

Another area that local or any other chinese boys' inborn disadvantage is that - most of them are not board built. Outlook is of importance in the reality. Instinct will judge you whether you are data-ble or not. So, please don't blame that I am this or that like a baby. Relationship / One Night Stand will come to you if you get prepared. lol

Lesson learnt ... Secret of being young

Last Saturday, my dad had a kayaking trip with his friends. For whole day, he rowed here and there. After going back home, he kept on mentioning how amazing the whole trip was to me and my mum (Seriously.... mentioning for whole week!!)

Today, he took us to have a family kayaking trip. Since he received a sailing licence ( Earned the licence with hard study!), we got a boat and a kayak sailing on the sea.

Rowing the kayak, pull and push the boat, sailing and taking care of my mum (which is a tremendous job!) seem to be easy to my dad. But wait! Daddy has already passed his fifty, but he is enjoying the above activities a lot, plus, he is doing them good.

Of course, daddy was lobsterized and entirely dead when he was home. But at least, we had fun, without any regret.

Nobody has ever set a rule that fifties are not able to deal with excited outdoor activities unless this rule is set by your heart.

Weekend columnist ...... Hey say a Goodbye to Good Old Days!

After the dinner with the girl S two weeks ago, it has been always on my mind - the little crazy trip to Kansai 5 years ago ( 4 or 5 years ago?). It was little crazy for a young seventeen - year-old teen.

We went to the aquarium which is the best in Asia ( at least it is what I believe); sailing on a fake pirate boat (ya its weird!); walking in Nara park with traditional Japanese dress, where the white people thought that we were japanese (Obviously I am not that japanese Kawaii cute) and blah blah blah. Yeah! It's so much fun and I love it. I still want to go here and there. But think about it, everybody say he loves travelling! Of course, they say so for sure. Travelling is about relax and buying happiness. You can put all the troubles behind! It's the best escape, right?

You asked me why I do not join the ladies group for a long time. I shrugged. I didn't know how to explain it clearly and in a simple way. I hesitated. Yeah I want different things in my life. Or maybe I do not know how to handle the people change or my change. It is just like you are going to have a 24km marathon tomorrow. You will suffocate without any practice. Afterwards, something comes across my mind. You just need some time. So I would put my memory into a safe place in my heart once in a while.

Yeah, I just put all these good old days in different boxes. I am too weak and it's just too heavy to carry them along in the trip. But, I would open these vivid boxes ...... maybe when I am alone or down or tired or whatever.

1/7, to all the Hong Kong people, it is an extremely special day. Honestly, I do not really care whether C.Y. Leung is an underground member of the Communist Party. All I care is whether he can change the current situation and bring the prosperity back to Hong Kong. 

On the Bridge... Beggar

Is it the chain reaction of what he has done? Or the result of ineffective and ridiculous order in HK? Maybe he is just lazy to work. Regardless the reason of him being a beggar, I do not want to see it anymore. NO POVERTY! 

WHY DO WE HAVE RELIGION? Should we believe in a religion? (1)

I am going to talk about something serious which confuses me always. But first, let's have a childish but wise song. I am a Lion King fans. When I watch it, I just cry. Because it is about LIFE! Tell you more about Lion King later.

WHY DO WE HAVE RELIGION? Should we believe in a religion?

This is the topic that we 4 girls talk about till 5am in the morning. 

Here is what I think. (NO OFFENCE!) I do believe in GOD, who maintains everything on schedule and "normal", or controls our fate or karma. But I am not sure where he is and whether he Particularly belongs to one special religion like Christian or Catholic. At the same time, I believe (at this moment, here is wht i am believing) that the reason we live is because we are under the circle of life. That is why we have to give offspring, develop the world and all the bullshit. Circle of life and God are what I am believing in. 

So, should I put a God into a particular region? My friends kept saying that having one religion is really important. Otherwise, I will get lost! Is it the real scene?! Seriously, I have tried believing in Christian but in vain. I studied in catholic school for 7 years, but in vain. What can I do? They said like I should understand more first.

No offence, but can u be smarter?

Yes I am an extremely typical HK girl. Only something unique or stylish could please me. People would certainly feel difficulties to buy gift to me. I am not seeking for something billionaire stuff because I know that Tiffany & Co. or Cartier are something so expensive that ordinary people like us could not afford. None the less, at least I would have some little expectations, especially to the one I love or flirt or so on.

Here are some examples that I totally despise!  

I just received a clutch. Normally I feel nice when I got a clutch. But, this one is totally a fail! The clutch is made up of several pieces of awful floral printed textiles.  The printing is similar to the pic below.

It just doesn't fit my style! I swear I would not bring this fucking old school clutch to anywhere, even just go to McDonald!

Well, I encounter another non-sense gift receiving experience. This one is even more bizarre.

Receiving a traditional Christmas sock is perfectly fine. But the funniest thing is that it is not typical red and green one, it is a pair of over knees and green with white snow printing Christmas socks. I mean I do appreciate Mr.J 's gift. What do you mean by sending me a pair of green sock? Do you want to have a role play during sex? No offense, just kidding! If I wear these socks to hang out, everybody must make fun on me for sure! Anyway, once again, it doesn't fit me at all!

Come on, what we girls ask for is pretty simple. For me, I think WE JUST NEED STH PRACTICAL AND NICE AND UNIQUE! Understand? If you query about that, just do research by your own self or buy a jewelry.

再看看EURO CRISIS, 幾個EURO 國家走上破產邊緣,
再仔細看看, 這不單單是數字問題, BAILOUT 根本就沒用,
國家的UNEMPLOYMENT RATE 不停的升,
這不是LINEAR GROWTH,
而是一個EXPONENTIAL GROWTH.
UNEMPLOYMENT RATE 出奇的高,
這代表有一定數量的人在捱窮,
程度雖未到埃塞俄比亞的瘦骨如柴,
但一定不能三餐溫飽.


另一邊箱,
泰國打算把出口米的價格提高,
即是在糧食短缺的情況下再雪上加霜.
苦了大眾市民.


我只想要三餐溫飽,
好像變得愈來愈難,
人工好像已不足夠你日常所需.
那我們可以做什麼?


除了不停的向上爬,
還是自求多福吧........

本身都勁怕寫中文字...
覺得點解中文字點解可以咁COMPLICATED!!!
D 筆話寫極都唔記得... 多左一點同少左一點又唔同~ 點解可以咁煩~!!!!!
所以中文係我一直以來最差最差的一科......

但係泥左BEIJING 後,
怕有時溝通唔到, 加上閒時冇乜野做,
就練下簡體字.
平時睇下簡體書都OK,寫1日2日仲得,
寫得多就...... 愈睇愈唔順眼~!!!!!!

你唔覺得繁體字先代表到中國文化架咩?!
中文字係好特別的字體,
EACH WORD HAS ITS OWN SPECIAL MEANING!!!
可能唔係所有, 但點都有50% 係.
每一個部手都由圖畫演變而來,
呢一個EVOLUTION 唔係每個古老文化都可以KEEP 到到而家~!!!
當我諗到呢一點時, 
暗暗就問.......點解要再寫簡體字,


我唔係大陸人, 可以寫繁體就要寫繁體!!
當初有簡體字時係因為毛主席 ( 又係佢= =!!!)
佢見到中國有當時有好多好多文盲~!!!

咁簡化漢字可以令多D 人識字,
